7 Days Murchison Falls & Kidepo Valley National Park Safari

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport.

Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for a scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip. When you arrive at the airport, you will be met and transferred (1 hour and 30 minutes) to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy a guided forest walk this afternoon.

The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the park headquarters with a picnic lunch for a briefing before heading out to track these gentle giants. You will spend an hour with the gorillas, observing them foraging or grooming themselves, before returning to the lodge. This is the safari's highlight, and it requires a high level of fitness because the time spent in the forest is determined by the location of the family you are tracking within the forest. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Kidepo Valley National Park After breakfast at the lodge, we drove to the Kihihi airstrip (1 hour 30 minutes) for our scheduled flight back to Entebbe. When you arrive, you will board an internal flight to Kidepo Valley National Park, where you will be met and transferred to your lodge for the remainder of the evening. Dinner and Overnight: Apoka Safari Lodge

Kidepo Valley National Park Over the next two days, you will immerse yourself in nature and wildlife by exploring Kidepo on foot during a walking safari and by vehicle during a game drive. Explore the park's surroundings and get a taste of the IK way of life, one of Uganda's most distinctive tribes. Take up your adventure and hike to Morungole Mountain, which offers views of the surrounding area. The Narus Valley walk is popular with visitors due to its short average 5km radius of pure bliss, beautiful scenery, and an incredible population of wildlife species. This walk takes you through the wilderness, where you may see buffalo, zebra, giraffe, hartebeest, warthogs, leopard, lion, cheetah, elephants, waterbucks, and other mammal species, and a diverse collection of beautiful bird species.

Departure This morning, you'll have an early breakfast before heading out on a game drive to explore more of the park. You will then return to the lodge for checkout and an early lunch before making your way to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe. When I arrived, I met you and took you to a nearby hotel to relax in your day room. Transfer to the airport for your international flight out later.
